We know the list of winners and runners-up of the XXVIII Pomeranian Press Photo Contest named after Zbigniew and Maciej Kosycarz (Event organizer: Photo Agency Kosycarz Foto Press / KFP).

Gdansk Press Photo is an annual competition for photojournalists and photographers residing or working in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The contest has been organized since 1997, making it one of the oldest photo contests in Poland. Awards were given in 7 categories: Event, People, Life and the world around us, Culture, Sports, Climate and Environment and a new Hobby Photography category.

Out of 715 works submitted by 35 photojournalists and professional photographers and 32 hobbyists, the jury selected and awarded the Pomeranian Marshal’s Award – Grand Prix to the best photo of the year. 40 photographs, taken by 20 artists, qualified for the exhibition.
